Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.

Welcome to The Farm Place
Many children in Indiana have dealt with the pain and confusion of separation from their moms or dads when their parents are incarcerated. The purpose of The Farm Place is to provide a foster care home in a farm setting. Supervised visitation, animal companionship, and other therapeutic methods will provide a safe, nurturing, and restorative place for children in need.
The problem is bigger than you think.
In 2017 there were 29,630 children in Indiana who were removed from their homes because they were impaired or injured by abuse or neglect, and their parents were unable or unwilling to correct the problem. They are called CHINS – Children in Need of Services.
According to the Indiana Youth Institute, the Indiana Department of Child Services, and the Kids Count Data Center, the breakdown of children affected in our area includes:
Every day, in one of our four counties, an average of at least one child is removed from his or her home. They are our neighbors, our friends, our family.
AIMING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
The Farm Place began as a dream that arose from a nightmare. Concerned citizens of LaGrange County are seeking to make things better by providing a place of refuge and renewal for affected children.
